Duo Concertante

Critics praise violinist Nancy Dahn and pianist Timothy Steeves’ “artistry, poetry, and impeccable technique” (La Scena Musicale) and “deeply integrated performances that flow naturally as if the music were being created on the spot” (Gramophone). They have toured extensively, appearing at the Wigmore Hall, Weill Recital Hall (Carnegie Hall), Roy Thomson Hall, the National Arts Centre, Shanghai City Theatre and the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing. Their 13 CD’s include a 2011 JUNO winner, ECMA Classical Recording(s) of the Year for 2017, 2018 and 2019, and one of CBC’s “Top 20 Classical CD’s of 2020”.  2022’s Ecology of Being (Marquis Classics), an environmentally-inspired commissioning and recording project, has been declared “world-class…a powerful and deeply moving album” (WholeNote).
