Glen Montgomery leads a dynamic musical life throughout Canada, performing, teaching, and composing. He has performed around the world in such renowned venues as Leningrad’s Philharmonic Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and interesting locales such as Iceland, Japan, and Australia. Montgomery has collaborated with numerous international artists in frequent appearances at the Festival of the Sound, Montreal Chamber Music Festival, and the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival. Over the course of his career he has been a devoted teacher, with students having achieved national and international acclaim including Magdalena von Eccher, Sarah Hagen, Jan Lisiecki, Stephen Nguyen, and conductor Carlos Foggin. He has been on the faculties of the Banff Centre, Mount Royal University, University of Ottawa, Conservatoire de Montréal, and the University of Lethbridge.
