Suzanne Shulman


Suzanne Shulman studied with Robert Aitken and in Europe with Marcel Moyse, Michel Debost and Jean- Pierre Rampal. She has given solo recitals at Carnegie Hall, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wigmore Hall, and the Chopin Institute in Warsaw, has appeared as soloist with Canadian and international orchestras, and is a frequent guest at chamber music festivals. She has performed with the Orford String Quartet and the late Glenn Gould, with whom she collaborated on a variety of recording projects. Suzanne has premiered works by Jean Coulthard, Christos Hatzis, Srul Irving Glick and Jacques Hétu and is the flute soloist on all the Classical Kids recordings. Her latest recording with harpist Erica Goodman will be released on the Naxos label in October.
