Victoria Korchinskaya-Kogan


Praised as “an admirably gifted performer’’ and a “true artist”, Victoria is a renowned concert pianist worldwide, and the winner of several piano competitions, including The Stravinsky Piano Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with major orchestras in concert halls all over the world, from Canada to Azerbaijan. Recent recordings featuring Victoria received critical acclaim for their distinguished imagination and stylistic precision. Born in Moscow, 1978 as the granddaughter of the famous violinists Leonid Kogan and Elizaveta Gilels, Victoria started to play the piano at the age of 5. One year later she debuted at the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. She would go on to receive her M.M. and D.M.A. from the Moscow Conservatory and become Faculty in Moscow Conservatory and Seokyeong University in Seoul.
