The Music Never Stops: April 8, 2020

A pianist uses both of their hands equally when performing; however, sometimes the left hand gets overshadowed by the right which normally plays the melody, flourishes, and beautiful ornamentation. Watch this performance by Leopoldo Erice of Alexander Scriabin’s “Nocturno para la mano izquierda, Op. 9 No. 2” and see if you notice anything interesting! 😉 Recorded March 24, 2020.
