Hello, Festival of the Sound plant lovers! 🌹💐

We have had a number of inquiries about whether our annual plant sale will take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The answer is most definitely yes!

In past years, we have opened our Festival Station Office doors to our community of plant lovers but due to the current situation this year we are hosting a virtual plant fundraiser in support of the Festival with our goal this year to raise $3,000! With your donation, you will receive a tax-deductible charitable receipt. As such, there will be no refunds. 

Beginning Friday, May 15th until Sunday, May 31st, our virtual plant sale will be open! During this time, you will be able to go to our website to peruse what plants are available and select what you would like using our order form.

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email by the following business day. This email will confirm your order (i.e., number of each plant, suggested donation for each, and grand total), include instructions on how to make your donation online, and designate a 15-minute window in which you will be able to pick up your plants. This time slot is necessary to keep with physical distancing requirements.

Plant pick up will occur on Saturday, June 6th at the Festival Station Office (1 Avenue Road, Parry Sound, ON). When you arrive during your 15-minute time slot, please do not exit your vehicle. Festival staff will assist you and transfer your plants.

Don’t need any more plants? That’s okay! You can still support us by making a donation to our plant fundraiser. More info will be posted on our Plant Fundraiser page on our website when the fundraiser opens!

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Order forms MUST be completed by Sunday, May 31st in order for your order to be processed.
  2. Donations MUST be made prior to pick up. Donation payments will not be available at the time of pick up.
  3. Our plants are donated from local perennial gardens of Festival Board, staff, and patrons
  4. We cannot offer choice of size, colour, or variety of plants, but you WILL receive the type of plant you request (i.e., if you order a Hosta, you will receive a Hosta)
