Since moving to Toronto, Ed has played regularly with orchestras and ensembles including: Tafelmusik, Opera Atelier, The Toronto Symphony, The Canadian Opera, The National Ballet, The Esprit Orchestra and many others. Ed’s engagements include the Canadian Premiere of Philip Glass’s Concerto Fantasy for Two Timpanists with the National Ballet Orchestra, the Toronto Premiere of Maya Badian’s Concerto Grosso for Timpani, and timpani and percussion soloist with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra and the Seattle Baroque Orchestra. He has toured in Chicago, and performed many times in Versailles, at the Royal Opera House, with Opera Atelier. Ed can be heard on the live recording of Beethoven Symphonies 1, 2 and 4 with Tafelmusik as well as on numerous Naxos recordings with the Toronto Chamber Orchestra and Aradia.
