Orford Six Pianos
Seeking to renew the concert experience by presenting the grand classical repertoire in a particularly dynamic light, the Orford Six Pianos ensemble continues to captivate audiences. Founded in 2006, the group showcases both original works written for the formation and transcriptions of well-known orchestral pieces.
Comprising six virtuosic and complementary accomplices (Sandra Murray, Claire Ouellet, Mariane Patenaude, Romain Pollet, Francis Perron, and Pamela Reimer), this unique ensemble presents concerts in Quebec and across Canada, garnering both audience enthusiasm and critical acclaim. The pianists have performed repeatedly at the Orford Music Festival, as well as at various festivals including the Lanaudière Festival, the Festival of the Sound in Parry Sound, the Festival Music and Beyond, and have shared the stage with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra.
