Suzanne Shulman

One of Canada’s foremost flutists, Suzanne Shulman studied with Robert Aitken, Marcel Moyse, Michel Debost and Jean-Pierre Rampal. She has given solo recitals at Carnegie Hall, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wigmore Hall, the Chopin Institute in Warsaw, and has appeared as soloist with Canadian and international orchestras. She is a frequent guest at chamber music festivals and has performed with the Orford and Penderecki String Quartets and the late Glenn Gould, with whom she collaborated on a variety of recording projects. Suzanne has premiered works by many prominent Canadian composers and is currently adding to her discography of more than forty titles. This season Suzanne Shulman and Erica Goodman released two albums with Wolftone Media, ‘A Net of Gems’ and ‘Being Golden.’ This summer they are resuming their in-person concert schedule in Ontario.
