Music Made Visible
Mark Rash has been capturing magical moments at our Festival since 2015. His intimate images of the Festival’s artists have appeared in the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the Toronto Star, the Winnipeg Free Press, the WholeNote Magazine, and Ludwig Van. His captivating image of children playing at the base of the Nagasaki Peace Statue (Japan) is currently on display at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. He has been photographing the members and soloists of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra since 2022, and his stunning photos of the dancers of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet have caught the imagination of dancers and reviewers alike. In this illustrated presentation, we will learn how Mark’s photographs capture the artists’ passion and commitment to their music.
